Thank you for your insights. Your observation of pfds with lots of pocketage reminds me I forgot to mention one functional aspect of this design that being that the front of the pfd is a smooth clean design it doesn’t get in your way on reentries into your kayak from deep water and the semi rigid clamshell front helps keep pocketed items protected.

I’m sorry you’ve had bad experiences with other drysuit manufacturers.

Personally I wouldn’t use or carry a product from a manufacturer that wasn’t willing to stand behind their product.

Stohlquist has been at the paddling gear design and manufacturing for a long time.

An authorized agent will then arrange, at no charge to you, the repair or replacement of the product This is Stohlquist WaterWare, Inc.’s sole and exclusive remedy for the original purchaser. In order for any claim to be processed, warranty information must be on file, and have been sent no later than 30 days from date of purchase. Any replacement product is warranted to the original purchaser of the Stohlquist product for the life of the product. This warranty does not cover any damage or defect, caused by misuse, abuse or accident and is not transferrable.
