Paddle Britches by North Water Paddle Sports
The well renowned Paddle Britches (or chaps for Chihuahuas) have been updated for 2014 to be easier to use in the field and portable so as to attach to any kayak you wish without having to disassemble the perimeter lines. The ultimate purpose is to be able to store your spare paddle on your foredeck, or rear deck for that matter, without gouging the deck with the ends of your disassembled paddle. In this newest iteration of the Britches each sleeve is reinforced with a rigid plastic conical tube which makes threading the paddles in a breeze. The attachment is by way of heavy 4 heavy duty hook/loop straps that go under your perimeter lines. Plenty of adjustability allows for a great range in positioning on the deck of the kayak and what lines you attach to. Best thing is if you paddle more than one kayak you can take the Britches from boat to boat just by unfastening the straps.
