I had my hands full most of the time, so no time to point and shoot photos, as 13 miles of the course was uphill or at least up wave. 3′-5′ waves were the norm.

Good grief, your boat’s under water in those wave photos! Deep respect. I would have whimpered and headed for shore.
New division – semi-submersible or ocean going squirt boat. In conditions methinks I’m a tad heavy for that kayak.
