After the early AM start I came to realize that I was up the creek, but with such strong winds it was a blow out tide so no water remained in Club Foot Creek. With the course being modified to backtrack and take the ICW to Beaufort I decided against a second day of maximum exertion against the winds and have ended this year’s UM journey.
